Speed (ToD PSX)

Speed as it appears in Tales of Destiny (PSX).

Gale Shot (疾風 Hayate?, "Gale"), also localized as Speed and Gale is an Non- or Wind-elemental archery arte in the Tales series.

Arte Description and History[]

When used, green energy-infused arrows are rapidly shot from the user toward the enemy, or they can be normal arrows with no energy trailing them at all. The arrows tend to arc slightly as they shoot forward and increase in number depending on the level of the user. The maximum number of arrows is usually ten, and the number fired is often tied to the user's current level.

In both language files of Tales of Symphonia, there are unused voice clips of this arte used by Colette Brunel, localized as Gale Shot. However, she does not have access to this arte in the final version of the game. Her variant is shouted as Shippuu.
