Aegis Shield (イージスシールド Iijisushiirudo?) is a base arte used by Tilkis Barone from Tales of the Tempest.
Arte Description and History[]
The arte involves Tilkis conjuring a shield around himself, creating a temporary barrier against all damage. In Tales of the Rays, Tilkis will instead plunge his sword in to the ground, conjuring a glyph that temporarily increases his and nearby allies' P.DEF.
Like all of Tilkis's base artes, the move follows a Greek mythological naming scheme, being a reference to the divine artifact Aegis.
