Blink (空間転移 Kuukanten'i?, "Spatial Shift") is a recurring arte in the Tales series.
Arte Description and History[]
This arte allows the user to teleport. In Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon, Dio teleports to his target and attacks them with light. It is a reference to Cress's Eternal Slasher arte.
In Tales of Berseria, Melchior spins his orbs around him before teleporting away in a spatial warp, allowing him to dodge attacks. It has a slight delay before activation and thus can be interrupted. In Tales of the Rays, Edward D. Morrison teleports away from the enemies in a cross of light, similarly to the use of space-time travel in Tales of Phantasia. It increases his A.ATK for a short amount of time, increasing the potency of any spells chained to the arte that can now be cast because of the distance from enemies the arte allows.
