Boost Gauge (ブーストゲージ Buusutogeeji?), shortened to BG, is a gameplay mechanic exclusive to Tales of Arise. It governs the usage of Boost Attacks (ブーストアタック Buusutoatakku?).

Boost Gauge allows a character to use a Boost Attack, a unique attack that can temporarily down an enemy and prevent them from using a special trait, with each character specializing in a different type of enemy. BG appears as a gauge on the bottom right side of a character's rhombus portrait that displays in the bottom left corner of the screen. The gauge gradually fills during battle, filling said side with a white line. There are character skills and equipment skills that increase Boost Gauge's fill rate, allowing for more frequent use of Boost Attacks.
