The Break (ブレイク Bureiku?) artes, not to be confused with break artes, are a set of malak artes used by enemies in Tales of Berseria.
Arte Description and History[]
The user conjures an unblockable wave of energy on the ground that quickly spreads out. Any enemy caught in it has a chance of being inflicted with a status ailment. Each arte is capable of inflicting a specific status ailment. They are as follows:
- Paralytic Break (パラライズブレイク Pararaizubureiku?, "Paralyze Break") deals Non-elemental damage and inflicts Paralysis.
- Burning Break (バーニングブレイク Baaningubureiku?) deals Fire-elemental damage and inflicts Burn.
- Slowing Break (スロウブレイク Suroubureiku?, "Slow Break") deals Earth-elemental damage and inflicts Slow.
- Poisonous Break (ポイズンブレイク Poizunbureiku?, "Poison Break") deals Water-elemental damage and inflicts Poison.
- Fatiguing Break (ウェイストブレイク Weisutobureiku?, "Waste Break") deals Wind-elemental damage and inflicts Fatigue.
