Infrastructure is low priority blahblahblah, but I'm thinking about redesigning the "Images" category tree somewhat.

The individual non-image character categories ("Tales of Symphonia characters") should not be nested within these categories anymore, but images should still list those categories so they can be visible under the "Characters" category tree. There is no other way to do this, since the current alternative is to create game subcategories for "Status Images", "Cut-in Images", and so on, to fit with how it is already with "Character Artwork". This forces us to create far too many categories, which is logistically inefficient.

Therefore, each new image for any playable char, let's choose Sophie's status image for an example, should have a total of three categories: Category:Status Images, Category:Tales of Graces characters, Category:Sophie. For most images, this just means adding one more category, so it's not a real problem, but I'm just making sure people are aware that this will be necessary. I'll change the current category nesting myself.

I'm not going to deal with other category trees, since they are more or less how we want them by now. I have some minor concerns, but I'm not going to bring up new issues for us to deal with at this time. But as an aside, does anyone want me to create a category tree outline to be posted on the forum namespace? I might make one anyway since it's a good visual reference of where things should be.

Artwork[]

I've always found this artwork to be cute and creative, especially the megapiece.

Mega sweep[]

I went through every image and image category today, putting an end to a seemingly never-ending project. It's done now. Everything is accounted for and where it should be. I currently have no images to upload to the wiki. It's all here. I think I have carpal tunnel. Anyway lol. That's all done, and since there's no current projects on the wiki (well, major ones anyway), I will probably be taking it easy for a while, maybe focus on playing some of my games. Monitoring daily is a given, but contributions will just be whenever I feel like it, no pressure. I realize location and arte pages are still in demand, but those will come at their own pace. I'd say we're doing pretty well.

I did make a small list of certain images that I need to edit for various reasons, mostly because of unwanted borders or some form of messiness in the original cropping. It's not a lot at all, so I'll take care of that soon. Sorry for the spam of edits.
