Counter Edge (カウンターレイド,Kauntaareido?, "Counter Raid") is a gameplay mechanic exclusive to Tales of Arise.

Counter Edge is an action ability unlocked with skill panels and every playable character has access to it. It is based on the Counter skill, but in order to successfully perform a Counter Edge the character must first perform a perfect evade or guard (evading or guarding must be performed just as an enemy attack is about to hit a character) and the player must press the Attack button in a short span of time to active a Counter Edge.
