Deathblooms as it appears in Tales of Zestiria.
Deathblooms (業華炯乱 Goukakeiran?, "Furious Blossom Piercing Assault") and Infernal Bloom (業火炯乱 Goukakeiran?, "Hellfire Piercing Assault") are strike artes used by Rose in Tales of Zestiria and Rokurou Rangetsu in Tales of Berseria respectively.
Arte Description and History[]
In Tales of Zestiria, Rose slashes to the left, then to the right, and then to the left again, all strikes accompanied by a trail of petals. In Tales of Berseria, Rokurou slashes to the left, then diagonally forward to the right, and then to the left again, all strikes accompanied by a trail of fire.
In Tales of Zestiria, Deathblooms is Earth-elemental, deals extra damage to beasts, and has a 20% chance to inflict the A.ATK Down status ailment. In Tales of Berseria, Infernal Bloom is Fire-elemental, has a chance to inflict the Stun status ailment, and is effective against the undead.
In Tales of the Rays, this arte is Water- and Earth-elemental and is the master arte to Frozen Shade, replacing that arte when it is used as the sixth or later action in a chain. As such, the petals are replaced with snowflakes.
