Demon Spear

Demon Spear (魔神閃空破, Majin Senkuuha^?, "Demon God Flashing Sky Tear") is an arte that combines Demon Fang and Light Spear.

Arte Description and History

Demon Spear is a combination of Demon Fang and Light Spear, where the user first shoots a shock wave and then performs their version of Light Spear. Cress Albane's version of Demon Spear is unique to him, so he performs a rising slash of energy before sending a shockwave. Most other versions involve the user spiraling into the air after firing their shockwave. In the PlayStation 2 and subsequent ports of Tales of Symphonia, Demon Spear must be used at least 100 times before Zelos Wilder can obtain Shining Bind.

In Tales of the Rays, Repede's version is Light-elemental while Zelos's version is Dark-elemental and is the master of Senkuu Shoureppa when used as the sixth or later action in a chain.
