Diabolic Rage (幻魔衝裂破 Genma Shoureppa?, "Phantasm Colliding Fissuring Tear") a recurring strike arte in the Tales series.
Arte Description and History[]
Veigue Lungberg first uses the footwork of Mueishou to hop backward before he uses the arm movement of Reppashou to perform a downward-leftward slash, then follows with a rightward diagonal slash downward. Each slash forming an arc of energy that projects a shadow on the ground. In this game, the move is Aqua-elemental.
In Tales of Graces, Asbel Lhant performs a counterclockwise spin accompanied by a rightward diagonal slash upward, then downward, conjuring a violet cross. If it is used a second time consecutively, he will repeat the move. In this game, the move is effective against fiends. In contrast, a small cross is added at the second slash of Veigue's variant.
In Tales of the Rays, this arte is Water- and Dark-elemental and it is the master arte to Saihyoujin, replacing that arte when used as the sixth or later action in a chain.
