Dragon Breath

Dragon Breath (ドラゴンブレス, Doragonburesu^?), also localized as Dragon Bliss, is a recurring strike arte used by Dragon monsters and a Fire- and Water-elemental collaboration mirrage arte used by Laphicet in Tales of the Rays.

Arte Description and History[]

In Tales of Eternia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, it is used by various Dragon monsters to breathe out an elemental breath. The element can vary depending on the user and visually resembles its associated element.

In Tales of the Rays, Laphicet draws out multiple sheets of paper around him and drains them of power, to which he transfers to the Creepy and Weepy dragons. The two spew a powerful beam that blasts into the enemy. Laphicet's version is derived from Ashton Anchors's Dragon Breath special art in Star Ocean, as Laphicet obtains an Ashton costume in the collaboration that introduced his version of the arte, and it also features Creepy and Weepy from Star Ocean: The Second Story.
