Elemental Impulse

Elemental Impulse (ファンシーエレメンツ, Fanshiierementsu^?, "Fancy Elements") is a recurring supportive magic arte used by Patty Fleur in the PlayStation 3 and Definitive Edition versions of Tales of Vesperia and Leia Rolando in Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2.

Arte Description and History

Elemental Impulse temporarily imbues one ally's physical attacks with an elemental affinity; priority is given to the current enemy target's weaknesses. In Tales of Vesperia, it applies a random elemental attribute to an ally's attacks for a short period of time. In Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2, it can be combined with Whirling Assault during a linked arte to use Tetra Elements.
