Kanonno Grassvalley (カノンノ・グラスバレー Kanonno Gurasubaree?) is the main heroine of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3. She is a member of the guild Ad Libitum with the job class of Magic Knight.
History[]
Early life[]
Prior to the events of the story, Kanonno lived with her parents and Rocks. Kanonno's parents were doctors, but both died in the battlefield when she was a child, leaving her in the care of Rocks. Some time afterward, she joined Ad Libitum and since then has been traveling with the guild. At the same time, she started to like drawing sketches of unfamiliar landscapes and people that she herself did not understand, which would later play an important role in the game's story.
Beginning[]
One day, after finishing a quest, Kanonno notices a floating light and follows after it. When the light finally stops, she is surprised to find a person, the Protagonist, surrounded by the light. When the Protagonist regains consciousness, Kanonno suggests for them to leave the area since it is dangerous. On their way to the Van Eltia, the Protagonist reveals that they do not remember anything but their own name.

At the Van Eltia, Kanonno introduces the Protagonist to the guild master, Ange Serena, who allows the Protagonist to stay at the Van Eltia until they regain their memories, under the condition that they must work as a guild member. Under Ange's order, Kanonno guides the Protagonist around the ship and introduces them to the other guild members. Afterward, Kanonno does not appear in the story often until Celsius joins the crew and Kanonno shows her the sketches of places she has drawn. Recognizing one of the sketches as an ancient temple that may hold a connection with the recent incidents and Lazaris, Rita Mordio copies Kanonno's document to find the location of the temple. The copying of her document causes Kanonno to become exhausted and lose consciousness, leaving her bedridden for a while.
Judith then confronts Kanonno regarding her drawings and considers the possibility that Kanonno may have a power to see the past through her document subconsciously, but Kanonno herself does not understand. Wanting to know about the meaning of her drawings, she asks the Protagonist to accompany her to meet Niata.
Appearance and Personality[]
Kanonno Grassvalley shares her kind and gentle traits with Pasca Kanonno and Kanonno Earhart and she is shown to be brave and determined in her adventures.
Like the previous Kanonnos, Kanonno is a 15 year old young girl with pink hair tied into a ponytail on the left side of her hair and green eyes. She wears a black headband with a maple leaf and wears a white-dress jacket with maroon sleeves, a white mantle with orange designs, white & orange high-knee socks wrapped in red ribbons and red shoes. Her outfit represents the Fall season.

Like the previous Kanonnos, Grassvalley fights using a broadsword. To differentiate from them, her style is more focused on mobility. Furthermore, she casts magic artes that are Fire-, Wind-, Earth-, and Light-elemental, further reflecting her Fall motif. She can also perform the same healing artes Earhart possesses, which may also reflect how Grassvalley's parents were doctors.
Starting with Tales of Link and Tales of the Rays, she gains a plethora of new artes to individualize her fighting style from other Kanonnos as they almost share the same strike artes. In her case, her artes are Fall-themed variations from her existing artes.
