Hermana Larmo (エルマーナ・ラルモ Erumana Rarumo?) is one of the protagonists in Tales of Innocence.

History[]

Hermana is a young girl who became an orphan after her parents were killed by bandits. Ever since, Hermana has made her living as a thief in Regnum. She also made it her mission to look after the many street children that now roam the streets, some of them due to the ongoing world war.

She first appears in the sewers when she comes across the party. After hearing them out, she brings them to her hideout, where she requests them to help her find a mushroom deep in the cavern next to the sewers. When they come across a Memory Spring, it triggers a flashback around the end of the war, when Asura defeated the Ratio senate. This is when Hermana reveals that she is the reincarnation of the dragon goddess Vritra.

Upon finding the mushroom, the party is attacked by Sian Tenebro, later revealed to be the reincarnation of Cerberus. With his loose lips mentioning that Asura destroyed Devaloka, the party picks up on missing memories.

After returning from the expedition, they learn that a corrupt shopkeeper gathered all the orphans to sell them off to the Galpos plantation. Unwilling to let that happen, Hermana leads the charge at the shopkeeper's manor. Luckily, one of the guards, happening to be someone who Vritra spared in a past life. After subduing him, Hermana tasks him to protect the orphans. From then on, Hermana joins the party onto Naohs.

She also wears two san marino-blue belts around her hips, a scarf around her neck like a small cape, a green ribbon around her right bicep, and a kabul-brown glove in each hand, held together by light green bands.

Due to her caring nature, Hermana always looks after the rest of the party, though she does have a habit of running her mouth.

Hermana's fighting style is reminiscent on Farah Oersted and Senel Coolidge, with her artes including a variety of kicks and punches to handle the enemy. As the reincarnation of Vritra, Hermana also possesses a few magic artes. In the original game, her spell list consists of a powerful spell from each element, as well as Piko Piko Hammer.

In Tales of Innocence R, this is changed to Pikohan and support spells. Furthermore, in this game, Hermana's fighting style is reworked, and she is even given a handful of strike artes unique to herself.
