Sovereign Gale as it appears in Tales of the Abyss.
Sovereign Gale (風塵皇旋衝 Fuujin Kousenshou?, "Duststorm Imperial Whirling Impact") is a Wind-elemental arcane arte mainly associated with Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss.
Arte Description and History[]
The user twirls their spear above their head and stabs it into the ground, causing a gust of wind to knock the enemy upward. In Tales of the Abyss, the arte changes to Mighty Deluge if used within a fully-charged Water- or Dark-elemental FOF Circle. Gelda Nebilim also takes this arte from Jade and uses it in her moveset. In Tales of the Rays, when used at the fifth or later action in a chain, this alters to Shin Fuujin Kousenshou.
