Finality DeadEnd (ファイナリティ・デッドエンド Fainariti Deddoendo?) is one of the Dark Aurora Artes that represent Nereid's most powerful ability.
Arte Description and History
During the final battle, Nereid uses Finality DeadEnd automatically once his host body's health reaches critical levels. However, it only activates if Reid Hershel is in the active battle party. This is intended as an instant-death move that poisons and kills all allies with the power of the Dark Aurora. The damage can be countered by using Reid's Aurora Wall, labeled as "Infinity Reviver" during battle if it is used to counter this attack.
When this attack is used, the phrase -Darkness of the Outer Limits- (-深淵なる極限の闇-[1] Shin'ennaru Kyokugen no Yami?) appears on the screen before the name itself appears. This is not an alternate name of the arte; several other artes in the series have words appear during battle, used to describe the attack itself.
