Flare Vortex (トルネードファイア, Toruneedofaia^?, "Tornado Fire") is a Fire-elemental magic arte exclusive to characters from Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria.

Arte Description and History

The user conjures a fiery tornado that circles around themselves. In a large radius around the user, the ground is set aflame, and fireballs launch upward from the burning area. In Tales of Zestiria, this arte has a 15% chance of draining SC from its target. In Tales of Berseria, it is also Wind-elemental and can inflict the Burn status ailment.

Flare Vortex as it appears in Tales of Crestoria.

In Tales of the Rays, this arte alters into Tornado Blaze when used as the fourth or later action in a chain or during Burst Limits. In Tales of Crestoria, this arte has 30% chance to inflict Burn to all enemies in range for three turns.
