Glimmerdust (瞬連塵 Shunrenjin?, "Glimmering Chain Dust") is a base arte in the Tales series that is commonly associated with Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth.
Arte Description and History[]
When activated, the user dashes forward by slamming the flat of their weapon and delivers a sword combo consisting of three high-speed thrusts. In Tales of Rebirth, with the talisman Fuujin no Tamashii (風神の魂?) equipped, this arte can be altered into the Wind-elemental Fuujinken when the assigned Force Gauge is completely filled. In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, Shunrenjin is given to the Paladin and Great Swordman classes, whose movesets are roughly based on Veigue's own.
Despite sharing the same pronunciation in Japanese, this attack has different kanji than the arte used by Emil Castagnier from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, localized as Blade Fury.
