Guilds (ギルド Girudo?) are a systemic feature found in certain Tales games. In mobile titles, they allow players to form social connections with each other.

Appearances in Original Titles[]

Tales of Innocence[]

In Tales of Innocence, guilds are placed in most major towns in the game and signified by a white, circular icon outside the respective building. The guild feature is optional for players to embark on various missions, called guild quests, in order to obtain guild points, which are used to upgrade the party's rank in the guild; Grade, which is used to purchase guild items, such as the special jewels that allow the party to carry over various key elements of the game after completion; and Gald, which is the game's main currency. To embark on the missions the players select, they must venture toward a guild dungeon within the vicinity of the town they received the mission from, and each time they embark on one of these missions, the dungeon paths alter so that no mission has the same end point.

Tales of Vesperia[]

In Tales of Vesperia, guilds are a storyline element that exists as one of the two major power blocs in the world of Terca Lumireis. They consist of people who turned their back on the Empire and were stripped of their rights under it, deciding instead to follow their own code. Many of the guilds joined the Guild Union.

Tales of Luminaria[]

In Tales of Luminaria, players could join guilds to work together to tackle multiplayer content. Membership in a guild allowed an increase in points obtained during multiplayer boss battles, and these points would contribute to a shared point goal for a guild to obtain awards alongside the individual point ladder.

Appearances in Crossover Titles[]

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology[]

In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, Ad Libitum is a guild that the Protagonist joins. It allows the Protagonist to register for quests to complete for rewards and recruit mercenaries to join the party temporarily.

Tales of Asteria[]

In Tales of Asteria, guilds allow like-minded players to form social connections and tackle multiplayer content together.

Tales of Crestoria[]

In Tales of Crestoria, guilds allow players to donate to the guild and unlock various boosts that aid that player in content. Guild members may also easily invite each other into Raids and perform summons using special Guild Points.
