Hell Rush (五月雨, Samidare^?, "Early Summer Rain") is an arte in the Tales series.

Arte Description and History

The user slashes multiple times, usually moving forward with each hit, ending in the air. In Tales of the Tempest, this arte is used by Caius Qualls as Chirisazame, followed by Kogetsuzan. He can use this arte together with Hitenshouku and Rekkuuzan to perform the arcane arte extensions Zankoushigure and Shiguresanka, respectively. In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3, and Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, Caius instead uses Akisazame, which is visually similar.

In Tales of the Rays, this arte is Water-elemental. In Tales of Crestoria, this arte inflicts Curse on the target for two turns.

In the original release of Tales of Vesperia, Judith has unused voice clips for Samidare, localized as Sword Rain: Sigma, as well as an altered variant, Winged Sword Rain: Sigma (五月雨・燕, Samidare Tsubame^?).
