Hevrekt-35 (ヘヴレクトの３５, Hevurekuto no Sanjuugo^?) is a supporting character from Tales of Arise. They are the Overseer of Daeq Faezol.

History

Originally, like most of their kind, Hevrekt-35 was a slave to Rena's Great Astral Spirit. However, once their ship, Daeq Faezol, drifted away in space, too far for the Great Spirit to influence their minds, Hevrekt-35 and their Renan crewmates were freed. Ever since then, they used all means available to them to extend their life to the point of preserving their body in a capsule. Unable to approach either of the Twin Worlds without the risk of the Great Spirit regaining control, Hevrekt-35 opted to observe the worlds from afar. During their observations, Hevrekt-35 discovered that the Great Spirit desired to consume all astral energy. This desire has resulted in Rena hollowing and the Helganquil being driven to the brink of extinction.

One day, Hevrekt-35 catches wind of another ship, the Falneitz, that has arrived nearby. The crew of the ship has the Sovereign Alphen, and the Maiden Shionne Imeris, with them. Hevrekt-35 has their crew explain the history of the Twin Worlds. They then offer to repair their ship in return to them slaying the Great Spirit, first proposing a plan that involves the Maiden containing the Great Spirit and then sacrificing herself using the power of the Sovereign and Renas Alma. Alphen rejects the plan outright, instead using the combined knowledge of his team to propose sealing the Great Spirit inside the Renas Alma instead. Hevrekt-35 ultimately acquiescences, deciding to pit the culmination of their race's achievements—the Sovereign, Maiden, and Renas Alma—against the Great Spirit, while being reminded by Alphen that they are doing this for themselves, not because someone else asked them to.
