Phoenix Ascendant (緋凰絶翔斬 Hiou Zesshouzan?, "Scarlet Phoenix Severing Soaring Slash") is a Fire-elemental strike arte exclusive to Kor Meteor in Tales of Hearts.
Arte Description and History[]
In its original form, Kor leaps into the air, performing an upward flaming slash while holding his sword with both hands as he spins in a counterclockwise manner.
In Tales of the Rays, this arte's animation changes: Kor slashes diagonally upward and soars along with the image of the phoenix and the illusion explodes when it reaches the moment the user starts to descend. This arte is also Wind-elemental. Phoenix Ascendant is the master arte to Kor's Dragon Slayer, replacing that arte when it is used as the sixth or later action in a chain.
