Impact (迫撃掌 / 迫撃翔, Hakugekishou^?, "Force Shooting Palm" / "Force Shooting Leap") is a base arte usually associated with Senel Coolidge from Tales of Legendia.

Arte Description and History

After gathering energy into their fist, the user punches the enemy with all of their might and drives their fist downward, knocking it down in the process. In Tales of Legendia, this is the first of several artes that Senel can use to knock down enemies, leaving them defenseless for him to use throws eres.

In Tales of the Rays, Senel's version is Fire-elemental. Additionally, Peony uses a personalized version of Hakugekishou with the last character replaced with "soar" (翔^?) and performing it as a clockwise spin-kick.
