Impact Cross (衝破十文字, Shouha Juumonji^?, "Rush Destruction Cross"^[1]) is a compound special attack and mystic arte, used by two swordsman characters at the same time.

Arte Description and History

It first appears as a compound special attack that can be used by Lloyd Irving, Kratos Aurion, or Zelos Wilder, if they use the same Sonic Thrust artes during a Unison Attack. The two participants thrust through the enemy, creating a cross between themselves that damages anything in their paths.

Eventually, this attack was reprised and upgraded to mystic arte status, used by Gauche and Droite in Tales of Vesperia. They stand around their target and slice through it to create the same cross, which then explodes to deal further damage. Two different camera angles are used when this mystic arte is activated, which change depending on which of the twins activates the attack, ultimately finishing with that character closest to the camera at the end of the attack.
