Kosmos Obey Strategical Multiple Operation System (秩序に従属する戦略的多目的制御体系?), better known as KOS-MOS (KOS-MOS?), is the main character from the Xenosaga franchise, who is featured as cameo throughout the Tales series.

KOS-MOS is relatively short and muscular. She has fair skin, large magenta eyes, and pastel-blue hair that falls past her waist. She wears futuristic white armor plating on her legs, arms, and torso, with black, red, and blue detailing.

Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3[]
In Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3, Caro Orange can obtain a costume based on KOS-MOS's Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht appearance via the Model costume, with the "Ether" as the root.
Tales of the Abyss[]
In Tales of the Abyss, the Artificial Life Form dresses Anise Tatlin's Tokunaga as KOS-MOS herself.
Tales of Destiny (PS2)[]
In the PlayStation 2 remake of Tales of Destiny, a "Gentleman" enemy based on KOS-MOS, named "KOKU-MOTSU", appears as the guardian of the ninth floor of the Arcana Ruins.
Tales of Vesperia[]
In the PlayStation 3 and subsequent versions of Tales of Vesperia, Judith gains a costume based on KOS-MOS's Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht appearance via the DLC costume "Multiple Operation System".
Tales of Hearts[]
KOS-MOS appears as a Support Arte in Tales of Hearts. She can only be summoned if the player has obtained the "Order of the White Holy Mother". When summoned, she uses G-SHOT or R-CANNON.
Tales of the Rays: Recollection[]
In Tales of the Rays KOS-MOS is exoflected into Tir Na Nog. She makes her appearance in the "Xenosaga EPISODE III Another Protocol" event, making her the final collaboration character.
