Koushoushoujin Senketsu (皇将衝刃・鮮血?, "Emperor General Collide Blade: Bloody") is Asch's overray mirrage arte in Tales of the Rays.
Arte Description and History[]
Asch and Luke fon Fabre clash swords, causing a molten crater to open beneath them after a burst of hyperresonance. As Asch's overray mirrage arte, this arte represents his clash with Luke as well as his hyperresonance powers. It has a variation that Luke uses called Koushoushoujin Sei'en. "Senketsu" in this arte's name is derived from Asch's "Bloody" epithet as a God-General; it contrasts with Luke's version, which is derived from the fact that Luke's name in Tales of the Abyss means "Light of the Sacred Flame".
