In order to get the invitation to become a Magic Knight, the [[Protagonist (Radiant Mythology)|Protagonist]] first needs to be a [[Swordsman]] of at least level 40, and then find the Trial Quest where he or she has to battle [[Kratos Aurion]] alone. By defeating Kratos, the player has to talk to him after finishing the quest to get the invitation. After that, 1,000 [[Grade]] is needed to be allowed to become a Magic Knight.

In order to gain access to the magic knight class the player must first get the magic knight invitation. In order to do this the player must first train a Swordsman (which can be obtained via storyline quest: Find Lloyd) to level 30 plus at which point the Test Your Skills with Kratos quest will become available. Accept the quest and battle kratos as a swordsmen, if you win talk to kratos after getting your reward and he with give you the magic knight invitation and your good to go.

The magic knight class is basiclly Kratos with Tales of Destiny 2 magic and more common physical Arts. The class is good in terms of stats and just to experience the feel of having your main character be able to use different types of spells and Arts.

The Magic Knight (魔法剣士 Mahoukenshi?) is a recurring job class in the Tales series.

Job Characteristics

Magic Knights are skilled with both magic and swordsmanship, wielding a sword and shield in addition to moderately powerful elemental magic and healing. Magic Knights usually can wear both heavy and light armor. Standard artes usually associated with the Magic Knight class include Burn Strike, Healing Wind, and Guardian Field.
