Appearance and Personality
Morgrim is a small, white cat with a yellow diamond-shaped marking on her forehead who wears a yellow bandanna around her neck. Her voice sounds wizened by age, which aids in her portray of great wisdom. She is calm and collected at all times, taking responsibility for her actions. She is also one of the very few non-humanoid seraphim or malakhim encountered.
Tales of Berseria
Morgrim is the malak partner of Shigure Rangetsu, but unlike all most of the other bonds exorcists have with their malakhim, they have a close relationship. Shigure returned Morgrim her free will, and the two have a bond of companionship. Shigure also uses Morgrim to limit his power, as opposed to the typical bond of bolstering the exorcist's strength. The two of them get along very well, with Morgrim staying by Shigure's side. When Rokurou Rangetsu finally kills Shigure at Mt. Killaraus, one of Shigure's final requests is that he spare Morgrim, which he agrees to. Morgrim stays by the spot where Shigure died to mourn him for a while longer before eventually leaving.
Tales of Zestiria
Many years later, Morgrim is infected by the malevolence in Pendrago and turns into the hellion Beast Master (虎武人 Torabujin?, "Tiger Warrior"). Sorey as the Shepherd purifies her, and as a penance, she agrees to become the Lord of the Land for Pendrago. Ruminating on the role of the blessing in human society, she comes to the conclusion that she will use the prayers directed toward the church, which has become a source of malevolence, to instead purify it.
