Mystic Cage (ミスティック・ケージ / ミスティック・ケイジ, Misutikku Keeji / Misutikku Keiji^?) is a mystic arte exclusive to Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss.

Arte History and Description

The mystic arte involves summoning a cage of glowing energy to surround the entire battlefield. On Jade's command, the cage contracts and deals massive damage to each enemy on the field. It is one of the few player character mystic artes that hits every enemy in the battle.

In Tales of Zestiria, it has a minor spelling change to Misutikku Keiji (ミスティック・ケイジ^?). Jade weaves the air to create several rings around him and generates a small sphere from his hand. The sphere then expands, capturing enemies caught in the range. When the cage is minimized, Jade closes his hand and crushes the cage, dealing severe damage to the trapped enemies.
