Mystic Dragon (幻龍斬, Genryuuzan^?, "Phantom Dragon Slash") is a strike arte in the Tales series associated with the Great Swordman and Paladin classes from the Radiant Mythology series of games.

Arte Description and History

Mystic Dragon allows the user to pass through enemies and get behind them, where they are assaulted by both a downward and upward slash. This arte is extremely useful in Tales of Rebirth, as the ability to pass through an enemy allows the user to escape pincer attacks situations where a character is surrounded on both sides by enemies more easily. If the arte's target is changed partway through the attack, the final slashes will change direction toward the new target. Equipping the talisman Kuushin no Tamashii (空神の魂^?) and filling the assigned Force Gauge in Tales of Rebirth will alter this attack into the arte Kuushuuken.

In Tales of the Rays, this arte is Dark-elemental and it alters into Genma Rengashou when used at the sixth or later action in a chain.
