Niren Fedrok (ナイレン・フェドロック Nairen Fedorokku?), also spelled as Nylen Fedrock, is a major character in Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike.
History[]
Niren Fedrok is the captain of the Niren Brigade and the commanding officer of Yuri Lowell, Flynn Scifo, Hisca Aiheap, and Chastel Aiheap. He and his brigade are sent to the small town of Ceazontania to check the unusual appearance of the local aer and demon-like animals. There, he becomes aware of a huge blastia used for experiments by Garista Luodur. During his time in Ceazontania, he becomes friends with the townspeople and remains on good terms with the local guild leader, Merzhom Keida. With the situation getting worse, despite being called by Commandant Alexei Dinoia to attend a formal gathering at the imperial capital of Zaphias, Niren sends Flynn in his stead to attend the gathering and to request aid in defending the town. When Flynn returns saying that no help will come until after the gathering is over, Niren takes matters into his own hands and takes his brigade to investigate the ruins where the blastia stands. They are joined by Merzhom and his guild. He dies when the ruins collapse, but not before giving Yuri his blastia as a keepsake.
