In Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X and the PlayStation 3 and Definitive Edition releases of Tales of Vesperia, it is a passive skill that gives the user a chance to reduce the damage from a physical attack to 1.
In Tales of Luminaria, Parry is one of Hugo Simon's actions. After performing Guard and receiving an attack, Hugo can release his Guard to unleash a wide sweep as a counterattack.
