A Prism Ring occurs when a mass of condensed mana gains magical power and turns into a rainbow-colored ring, which grows larger by absorbing nearby mana, eventually draining all of it. Early on in the story, a Prism Ring is formed in AC. 4408, focusing the efforts of the party toward dispersing it.
