Jade Luminescence (嵐月流・翡翠 Rangetsuryuu Kawasemi?, "Rangetsu Style: Kingfisher") is a mystic arte exclusive to Rose in Tales of Zestiria.
Arte Description and History[]
Rose delivers a few spinning slashes with red cuts, followed by a kick with a violet streak. She then rushes through the enemy, leaving a pink streak and performing a cross slash with violet cuts.
The first half of the arte's Japanese name, Rangetsu Style (嵐月流 Rangetsuryuu?, "Storm Moon Style), comes from the fighting style of the Rangetsu clan introduced in Tales of Berseria, Zestiria's distant prequel. Despite the last part of this arte's name being pronounced in Japanese as "Kawasemi" (翡翠?), which means "kingfisher", the "Jade" in the localization comes from the kanji combination also referring to the lustrous jade colors of the kingfisher birds.
In Tales of Asteria, Master of Elements, Act 11, Heldalf can call Rose to use this arte under the name Rose no "Rangetsuryuu Kawasemi" (ロゼの「嵐月流・翡翠」?).
