Sacrifice

Sacrifice (リヴァヴィウサー, Rivaviusaa^?, "Reviverser") is an important story-related spell that involves healing all party members and inflicting damage to foes at the cost of the user's life. Due to the status of this spell, this cannot be considered as a typical attack, and thus it cannot be categorized under the typical spell or arte system that is used for most games.

Arte Description and History

This arte is granted by Remiel to Collete when she broke the fourth seal of Sylvarant in the Journey of Regeneration. As said above, Sacrifice is exactly what the Angel Skill is about; Colette will sacrifice herself in the battle to heal every party member with 30% of their max HP, and additionally deals a massive damage to all enemies two times each with small rays explodes of light. The high TP cost and the long casting time, however, makes few people use it as a standard move, also because Colette will die and then it must be resurrected.

This arte can only be used once in a battle; even if you resurrect Colette, you will be unable to activate it.
