Sea Fire (不知火 Shiranui?, "Unknown Fire"), also localized as Secret Thief, is a recurring Ninja arte mainly associated with Suzu Fujibayashi from Tales of Phantasia.
Arte Description and History[]
This arte is one of the few artes dedicated to stealing items from enemies, and it does not inflict any damage. The arte also has a chance to track airborne targets, causing Suzu to rocket herself into the sky with a bit of recovery lag. In Tales of Phantasia: Cross Edition, Suzu can cancel it into another arte only if the steal attempt fails.
The Japanese name refers to the Shiranui phenomenon, phosphorescent lights often mysteriously seen in the sea.
