Secret Missions are a subset of achievements for certain boss battles. By performing a hidden, often beneficial, task during battle, the player is rewarded with an additional item after the battle's end, in addition to obtaining the achievement.
Tales of Luminaria[]
Secret Missions are a set of tasks that are unlocked through progressing through episodes, except Crossover episodes. Some are unlocked through normal play, but others are required to be found and individually unlocked by scouring the area. Most episodes contain 10 secret missions. Each secret mission gives the player a task to complete using a specific character with a specific objective, such as defeating a certain amount of enemies or gathering gels. The completion of each mission is also graded on a A-B-C scale, with A rank being the best and most difficult to achieve.
