Selene (セレン, Seren^?) is a minor character in Tales of Zestiria. She is Sorey's mother.

History

Selene lived in Camlann, the Origin Village, a place founded by Michael that lived in harmony with the seraphim. When the village was raided by soldiers from the Kingdom of Hyland, Selene was killed in the conflict, leaving her newborn son behind. The seraph Zenrus found the fragile baby next to her body and took him in to be raised among the seraphim.

Appearance and Personality

Selene speaks with Georg Heldalf.

Selene does not make a proper appearance until Tales of Zestiria: A Time of Guidance where she is shown to closely resemble Sorey. She has short, dark hair, light eyes, and wears a short, long-sleeved dress over dark leggings. Her short-sleeved jacket has a feather on each sleeve.

In the manga adaptation, Selene is shown to be both kind and optimistic. She invites Georg Heldalf to eat, saying that his low spirits will only bring everyone else down, and believes in having hope even in difficult times for the benefit of future generations.
