The Spirit Channeling Ceremony in Tales of Arise.
The Spirit Channeling Ceremony (＜招霊の儀＞ Shourei no Gi?) is a ritual performed in Tales of Arise. It is part of a grand scheme to transmit Dahna's astral energy via Lenegis. The Sovereign and Maiden are needed to control such vast, unstable energy.
History[]
Initially, 300 years ago, the Great Astral Spirit used Alphen as the Sovereign, and Naori Imeris as the Maiden, to conduct the ceremony via the Renas Alma. But during the ceremony, Naori somehow caught a glimpse of the great spirit, as well as its intent. As a result, the ceremony went horribly wrong, and the Renas Alma was destroyed.
