Sword Assault (アストラルベルト Asutoraruberuto?, "Astral Belt") is a burst-style arte exclusive to Sophie from Tales of Graces.
Arte Description and History
Sophie bends as light focuses on her, then charges at her enemy, leaving a trail of light in her wake and slashing her right gauntlet widely to the right. It also grants her one stack of Iron Stance. This arte is one of a series of artes that draws inspiration from the fighting styles of Sophie and her friends, this particular one from Asbel Lhant. The English name is a reference to Asbel's weapons, which are swords, while the Japanese name contains sounds that are similar to Asbel's name. Its animation is also similar to that of Asbel's Draw and shares its Iron Stance buff. In the Nintendo Wii version of Tales of Graces, this arte is effective against nova enemies, with an added effectiveness against spirits in the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
