Whoa this article hasn't been edited since 2007 and I don't think any of us knew of it's existence. The article doesn't look very organize and I was wondering would it be okay to remodel this page so it doesn't look sloppy? I know I hate saying this too, but I wanted to do something similar to FFwiki's FMV article, because let's face it nobody else here will have the time to go and list every single damn FMV in each game and put a description for each one. --SilentKlarinette 08:41, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Eh, go ahead. Personally, I think it's better to have a list of all animated cutscenes in each game, since every main game has some except for Phantasia SFC. It might be nice to explain that there are usually two types of animated cutscenes, the first being the typical anime scenes that are used as openings and the occasional emotional situation (STELLAAAAAAA, KUREAAAAAAAA, LEON-- LEEEEEEOOON, etc.), and the second being pre-rendered 3D computer graphics (like the Tower of Salvation appearing in Symphonia, or Grebaum escaping from Toukei in the Draconis in Destiny PS2, or the Van Eltia launching into space at the end of Eternia). Descriptions aren't necessary. Don't go out of your way to search for them though, just omit the list of scenes and fix the rest of the page first.
I'm not exactly sure how to use the term "FMV", and from looking at Wikipedia's definition of it, it applies to both anime and pre-rendered graphics. So I guess the article should be renamed to "Full Motion Videos"? I'm not sure that would work out well since the community tends to use FMV for just the anime scenes. Would "Animated Cutscenes" be a better name for the page?
Also, I didn't know this page existed either. The category listings basically ensured this page would never be found, since it's in the wrong places. When you edit the page, add it to the "Features" category, since it's a general feature of the series.
