I find how some of the men treat her, and how she acts kind of strange some time. I mean, I'm not sure what everyone thinks... But I consider her a child. Girls do have crushes on older guys sometimes, so I guess that isn't that strange. But, sometimes I think it's weird how men treat her. Like Peony (SPOILER) when the "gang", or whatever you want to call it, goes to see him and they find that sword, and want to borrow it and then he says smoothing like "maybe if you three cute girls ask nicely I'll give you it". I mean, maybe it wasn't suppose to be sound sexual, but I don't know. It kind of seemed like that. --Mai Is Me 19:43, June 12, 2012 (UTC)
Considering the fact that Peony's father had multiple concubines besides his wife and arranged marriages seem to be commonplace among royalty (Luke and Natalia), age most likely isn't an issue, as disturbing as that may sound. Thirteen is often considered too young in our society now, but before, it wasn't, and there are many countries that still practice arranged marriages of fairly young girls. Nonetheless, it doesn't change the fact that it can be a form of sexism against women. Anyway, Anise pretty much provokes the attention, most likely intended to be a bit of comic relief like Jade and Guy's friendly jabs at one another.
