- Is Symphonia-Ice Hmmer still considered altered arte even if that name belongs to Vesperia?
Altered artes involve any attack that is obtained by equipping something, replacing the existing arte with something else. Vesperia is the first to use the term, but we've since extended it to include all the element things in Symphonia, the accessory things in Rebirth and Destiny, and of course Vesperia's system. And Emil's elemental changes too, if those things had been named individually. FOF changes in Abyss are a different thing since equip changes aren't involved.
