Location compilation project[]
After looking at all the ToL location pages, I am more assured than ever that they will be gone soon. I had always wondered why ToL happened to have all of its location pages, while games like ToE were outright neglected. XZone is primarily responsible for their presence and unnecessary length, although Zolo contributed quite a bit as well. I recall edit-stalking XZone so that I could proof and edit everything he wrote, which was full of jargon and colloquialism. I finally gave up. The articles are full of horribad writing based solely on the protagonists' actions, which is NOT the intention of location articles, and only now am I finally doing something about it.
We do not need boring, difficult-to-read, walkthrough-based, Winxfan rehashing "he did this, she said that" nonsense on ANY page. This will not be a content nuke; it will be a shit nuke. Good riddance, too. Although this type of writing should never be acceptable on any wiki, it is certainly against this wiki's policy now, as location articles have taken an entirely new direction. Since this wiki cannot manage to have individual location articles for everything, nor can it have them done correctly, this location compilation project will provide a means of large, world- and country-based portal pages that will eliminate red links and make it easier for future location pages to be created. Upon personal review, the wiki's ToP location pages are acceptable. The wiki's ToS and ToL location pages are not and will be hit the hardest. ToS has already been done, and now ToL will.
