Since Nova and Vera appear in skits, should they appear on this nav? From what I know it's a practice here on Aselia.—Kaimi(999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 16:32, August 25, 2014 (UTC)
The actual point is if they specifically join the party or are playable in some aspect. Chars like Mithos, Van, and Emeraude join as party members who travel with the others, even if it is for a short time, despite not being playable. Chars like Shizel and Asura are literally playable. Chars like Ion, Claire/Agarte/Milhaust, Rhea/Brambert, Pascanonno, and Etos/Albert-the-talking-closet (as much as I hate these two) are recognized as party members and even contribute to some benefit to the other playable guys while they are with the group. Mascot-types are really getting annoying to list, so I'm thinking that they need to be removed, though going by the travels-with-party criteria, they are just as vital as the others.
Now here is the question that really needs to be asked. Do Nova and Vel (not yet used to the loc. name) actually participate as party members in that they travel around together with them? The same question applies to Drossel in the previous game, because I was under the impression that she -did- travel with the party in the same capacity as those I had listed above, though I may have been misinformed and all that I hear from others is durrrrrsheisnotplayable, which is irrelevant. I did not and probably will never play any game (for any series) that was released on any non-Wii/DS/PC system from the last or current gen, so I'm going from what I saw on the defunct official forums and the unofficial reserve forums. Skits are generally a way to observe if they join as active participants in the party, but I'm more interested on this: did they actually travel with the party?
Driselle (known in Japan as "Drossel") briefly accompanies Milla and Elize in Fort Gandala, but there's no popup of her that she joins as a guest, like it is at times with Elize and Milla. Nova and Vera (known in Japan as "Vel") does not travel with party from what I know, although Julius acts briefly as a guests of sorts and get a few skits.—Kaimi(999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 18:02, August 27, 2014 (UTC)
