Base arte extensions require the skill enchant Tsuika Tokugi (追加特技^?) to be equipped on the corresponding base arte. Extensions are activated by holding down the Attack button during the arte. Extensions cannot be performed as separate attacks.

Hi Ougi (秘奥義 - "Mystic Artes")

Mystic artes require the skill enchant Hi Ougi (秘奥義^?) equipped on the corresponding arte. Extensions are activated by holding down the Attack button during the arte when all requirements are met. The final strike of the arcane arte must hit and stagger an enemy to activate the extension successfully.
