The Dancer (踊り子おどりこ Odoriko?) is a recurring costume in the Narikiri Dungeon series of games.

Job Characteristics[]

Dancers are showman performers with the arte Fushigina Odori that allows them to recover TP. Later incarnations of the costume allows them to cast various magics to supplement their abilities.

Appearances[]

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon[]

The Dancer is a costume for Mell that can be made by combining her Model costume with a Thief costume, a Ninja Lord costume, a Gambler costume or another Model costume. It can also be created from two of Dio's Gambler costumes.

Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2[]

In Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2, the Dancer costumes are a series of costumes that can be converted into with a Dance Shoes (ダンスシューズ?) root item. Combining an elemental costume with the Dance Shoes will create the corresponding Dancer-family costume. While the normal attacks of each costume is dependent on the costume's element, each of the elemental costumes also gain access to several spells not necessarily of that element. The Dancer costume is used to synthesize the costume for Meredy.

The variations are:

Non-Elemental: Dancer (踊り子おどりこ Odoriko?)
Fire: Fire Dancer (ファイヤーダンサー Faiyaadansaa?)
Wind: Travelling Performer (旅芸人たびげいにん Tabigeinin?)
Water: Water Ballerina (水芸人みずげいにん Mizugeinin?)
Earth: Tap Dancer (タップダンサー?)
Lightning: Shrine Maiden (みこ Miko?)
Light: Idol (アイドル?)
Dark: Shadow Dancer (シャドウダンサー?)
Elemental: Dancing Princess (舞姫まいひめ Maihime?)

Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3[]

The process of costume synthesis is greatly streamlined in Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3, merging all iterations of the Dancer costume into a single unit. The Dancer costume can be obtained by merging a Mimic costume with the Dance Shoes (ダンスシューズ?) root item.
